Unclean

Your voice was slithery like eel skin

but mostly reminded me of a hound dog.

Because I loved you,

I told you it was smooth

and turned me on. It was never your voice

that did it for me. It was always the deception

you fed me. I believed you. And the lies you

made me swallow and I believed. At the time.

Now I feel dirty. Filthy. I have taken 269 showers, at least,

since the 90 days we parted, and I am still unclean.
