Rain and Static

The air

Is heavier

Than my mind

Damp

With rain

And static

Collecting

On my skin

Creating

A mist

That's vague

And tragic

Smoke

Curls and

Twists

At the edges

Of my eyes

And clouds the

Space between

Time

And my mind

Sometimes I think I slip

And then I have to remember

To forget

The things that I took with me

That I have not learned yet
