She was breathtaking

An ice Goddess that rivaled none

Majestic and regal sitting atop her glacial throne

She was heartache and sorrow turned off

Her frigid skin forgot all the bruises that marred her very soul

Faded memories of people and places that robbed her

of her warmth

She had no fear here

Her artic tower keeping her away from it all

Until the day arrived

For winter to end

For her soul to truly feel again

And so the beautiful Ice Queen dove off

From the top of her tower

Falling to the ground below

Shattering into icy dust

From that dust a Phoenix was born

Regal and fiery hot

She melted her polar kigdom to the ground

So it was, an ice queen nevermore

Just memories of a girl who froze to preserve

To save the pieces others tried to tear away

Until the thirst for feeling returned

Until the future lit up like fireworks

Now she will burn for all that has waited for her

And it will all burn for her.
